small-groupsLIFE Groups

Every day, we find ourselves actively engaged in crowds. There’s the work crowd, the school crowd, the crowd associated with the activities of our children, the shopping crowd, the entertainment crowd, the dining crowd, the church crowd and many more. What often happens is, we confuse our association within these crowds with the experience of authentic community.

Crowds are pseudo-communities where most relationships are experienced at the superficial level, drawn together by activities, rather than to seek deeper meaning in our life. This is why here at LifePoint we have smaller gatherings that we call LIFE Groups. LIFE groups are necessary and are powerful in our lives.

We find our identity in Christ, but we find community in a group. A LIFE group is a fantastic place to get your questions answered and make a personal application of a truth you’re learning. In a LIFE group, you can ask questions, participate in discussion if you wish, and hear others share insights and illustrations of a truth under discussion. There’s also the opportunity for you to encourage others in any struggle they may be going through. This is why we refer to groups as, “doing life together”.

The New Testament is filled with, “One anothers”…..love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, come alongside one another and so many more. The problem is, we can’t practice the “one anothers” without one another. To be all of what God created you to be, you need to be connected with others in your church family. That’s why we have small LIFE Groups.

LIFE stands for Love, Involvement, Fellowship and Encouragement. To join a LIFE small group, simply contact the church and we’ll put you in touch with the small group leader in your area.
