Holy Moments
You are probably familiar with the Christmas story, the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. But there are some specific moments in this story that we often pass right by. It’s not because we don’t care or don’t notice, it’s because we’re familiar. This December we’re going to pause long enough to examine some of these holy moments and explore their significance to us some 20 centuries later. What kind of faith did it take to say, “Yes”? What kind of trust was involved in accepting circumstances beyond your control? So many questions…….and we will explore the answers in this series, Holy Moments.
Be Rich ’24
Be Rich is one of our favorite times of the year. Be Rich is a campaign to change our local world by positively impacting individuals and organizations that are making a difference in people’s lives. Be Rich is a focus that takes our attention off of ourselves and puts it onto God and others. Be Rich shows us how God wants us to respond to His blessings and teaches us how to love beyond self, serve beyond self and give beyond self.
Be Rich isn’t about learning how to get rich, because plenty of people are trying to tell you how to get rich. Instead, Be Rich teaches us how to be rich in a way that honors God.
In God We Still Trust
On July 30, 1956, unanimously and without debate, both houses of congress of the 84th congress passed legislation placing the motto, “In God We Trust”, on every piece of American currency. The motto sounds good, but do we? Do we trust in God? Do we trust in God as a nation? Do we trust in God as individuals?
In this message series, “In God we Still Trust”, we will examine Scripture to learn why we can still trust in God, and how to continue to trust in Him.
When God’s Plans Don’t Match Your Plans (10/13/24)
The God of Perfect Peace
The subject of Mental Health seems to be a touchy one…….but it doesn’t need to be.
If you find yourself struggling mentally, you’re not alone. This series that we’re calling, “The God of Perfect Peace”, will debunk some of the myths of Mental Health. We will some some individuals in the Bible who dealt with Mental Health issues and how they overcame with God’s help. The reason this series is titled, “The God of Perfect Peace” is because the only source of perfect peace is God. When it comes to mental health, treatment is great and should be considered, but if perfect peace is the goal, the only source for that is God. This will not be a mass therapy session for several weeks. This is all of us, looking to the God of perfect peace to discover what He has to say to us about mental health.

In this series, “Key to Victory” we will follow the story of the Old Testament King, Jehoshaphat as he navigates some major “trouble” that comes his way. In the process, we will discover 3 keys that will help us achieve victory no matter what comes our way.
