Gain From Pain
As a result of what we’ve experienced and, in some ways, are still experiencing through the pandemic of 2020, what are the lessons we’ve learned? And what changes do we want to make moving forward? This experience was forced on us but it would be a shame if we don’t take a look at what we’ve learned and figure out what we need to carry forward from the old normal to the new normal. This brief series explores some changes we can make and points us toward seeking God’s help in implementing them in our lives.
While I’m Waiting
What do we do while we wait? Not wait like, “Honey, how much longer?” But wait like, “God, there’s no direction and no hope and no solution.” That kind of wait. What do you do when there’s nothing you can do? What do you do when you have a problem that seems to have no solution? Your job, your marriage, or your life is stuck. You’re miles from ideal with no good options. So what do we do? In this series we explore some answers and see God’s purpose, no matter what comes our way.
Witness
While believing in Jesus gives hope, Christianity isn’t based on hope or blind faith. It’s based on evidence. The Apostle John was an eyewitness to many of Jesus’ miracles and he reminds us that the supernatural feats of Jesus are not just random acts of kindness meant to help and inspire people. They are signs that give evidence for who Jesus is.

Many things Yogi Berra said don’t make sense, but in one of his famous sayings, he absolutely nails it: “It ain’t over till it’s over.” As we wrap up a year and a decade, what do we need to remember moving forward? The Old Testament Prophet, Jeremiah gives us a great reminder that we hope will help you, not only in 2020, but far beyond.
