Statistics show that most people professing faith in Jesus have never completely read their Bible. Many people start reading the Bible but then become overwhelmed by the number of chapters (1,189) and verses (31,102) there are. What we don’t realize is that we can read the Bible in a variety of ways without the guilt of “not reading enough”.

While we could provide multiple plans here, we have elected instead to point you to a web site where you can find a Bible reading plan to fit your focus. Here’s what we mean: Perhaps you’d like to embark on a journey of reading through the Bible in a year, there are plans for that. Perhaps you’re expecting your first child and would like to focus on Biblical passages that speak to this season in your life, there are plans for that. Perhaps you are wanting to focus on a particular plan at Easter and a different plan at Christmas. There are plans for that.

The idea is to find a plan that fits your season of life and read through that plan. It may be a year-long plan or it may be a month-long plan. It may include reading multiple chapters each day or it may include reading several verses each day. Our desire isn’t to put some “expectation” on you of reading Scripture. Our desire is to give you the opportunity to fall in love with the most wonderful book ever written and to read it in a way that speaks to your soul.
